The Slate Skies 5.5" Blocked Ultimate Training Short is praised for its great length, design, feel, material, look, and color. Customers appreciate the high-quality construction and the variety of shades. However, feedback on the liner is mixed, with some finding it too long or lacking breathability.

"These are the most breathable shorts offered. They didnt get heavy with sweat on long runs. Very comfortable. The pockets do not support the size of standard phones. Phone fell out of front pocket with the slightest bounce. Phone doesnt fit in pocket on compression shorts. This could be improved on to avoid having to carry a waist pack or vest."
"My favorite colors together. I love the material on these and the fit is stunning!"
"Fits perfect!"
"Cool shorts."
"Yes, it's very soft that"
"Great fit, mesh material is comfortable and I love the light blue hints with the cream colorway. Perfect to rock with Tampa Bay Rays or old school Seattle Mariners Merch"
"I liked these when I took them out of the packaging, despite being a light grey color instead of white, but still liked them none-the-less. But after I washed them for the first time, the material appeared aged and frayed. Now they look like theyve had years of wear on them and I havent even worn them once. I love every other pair I have in other colors. Chubbies are like the best shorts ever, but this specific pair just didn't hold up."
"Really unique gym short, a great switch-up!"
"Breezy shorts for CrossFit. Don’t feel suffocating and no friction build up. Fits great and the color is perfect."
"Great fit! Complement the legs. The liners are great just like the swimwear lines. Comfortable enough to wear all day long."
