"The biggest issue with these shorts is that the internal pocket linings take up almost all of the surface area and therefore stop most of the airflow that the perforated fabric provide and really weigh them down. The drawstrings are awkward whether they are in or out. I'd love a 4" or 5" inseam version of these and truly lighten them up. As is, they are want-to-be-breezy and not as strong as an active short as they could be."
"I bought my Chubbies BreezeTech Everywear Short because they are an Outdoor Gear Lab 2026 "Editor's Choice" and their top rated shorts for comfort. My first pair instantly became my "go to" shorts this summer and I bought two more pairs. They're super comfortable and have proven quite durable for their weight. I like the pocket layout and details--especially the zippered phone pocket behind the right hand pocket. Best of all they look good, unlike many "hiking" shorts. Thanks Chubbies!"
"same as my review on the the' Tide Pools' color for this same style of shorts. Love the pop the pink brings to any outfit especially in the summer and around the coast. Fabric is the same as any breezetech it seems and the fit is very similar to any other chubbies everyday shorts if you have yet to try these. Feels different, but not in a bad way."

"These were a great purchase right before my vacation trip where space was at a premium. These held up really well in the hot summer days and were great to walk around the city in. very lightweight and fit pretty close to normal everywhere shorts. Did not test how they held up after a dip in the water or getting wet, but they did hold up just fine even on the sweatier days throughout the trip. I am 5'8/175lbs and ordered medium for these but usually wear large in other everywhere shorts; i will probably go back to large for next one, medium was slightly tighter than i cared for but that's on me not the shorts."
