Are these lined?

These include a mesh, brief-style liner! If you're more interested in compression lining, however, we suggest our classic lined trunks!

My husband is 5'11, ~250 pounds and has a waist of about 38'' (normally buys 38" waist in pants/shorts). Would you recommend that I order the XL or XXL in the 5.5" inseam stretch swim trunks? I've never bought anything from Chubbies before and I'm just unsure of the fit and sizing since he's on the end of the XL size (according to your sizing guide). Thank you so much for your help!

This is a great question! Typically a size 38" inseam in our trunks is an XL. However, if he is ever in-between sizes (say sometimes a size XL, other times a size XXL), we suggest sizing up just to be safe.
